We’re pleased to confirm that Ella Cammack has accepted the challenge of joining our expedition to Madagascar with Cokethorpe School in July 2019.
They, along with their other team members, will be responsible for planning their adventure, earning the funds to go on the expedition and preparing themselves for the challenge they’ll face.
A large part of the build-up to the experience will be fundraising towards the expedition, through things such as organising their own events, part-time jobs and sponsorship from friends and family.
World Challenge are fully focused on learning through experience as part of the expedition programme, and earning their own funds for their adventure will increase their own personal development.
This carries on through to the expedition itself. Through each of the several expedition phases, be that the trek or engaging with the local community, we look to incorporate this through our own ethos:
🌏 Challenge - They’ll face both physical and mental challenges, teaching them how to overcome adversity and become more aware of their strengths and weaknesses.
🌏 Participation - They’ll be working as a team, taking responsibility and meeting objectives.
🌏 Environment - They’ll be learning about new cultures whilst discovering more about their own, gaining a greater respect for the world.
We’d like to wish Ella the best of luck with their fundraising and expedition preparations!
Kind regards
Nat
